
Rajoori, 13 December (H.S.): The General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General PK Mishra, along with the GOC Romeo Force, visited Mathiyanigala in Rajouri district to review the security situation and assess the operational preparedness of troops deployed in the area.
The Corps Commander examined ground readiness, inter-agency coordination, surveillance systems, and response mechanisms put in place to counter emerging threats in the hinterland.
He also interacted with officers and jawans to take firsthand feedback on ongoing Counter-Insurgency efforts.
Lt Gen Mishra praised the professionalism and dedication of troops operating in challenging terrain and appreciated the coordination between the Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and other security agencies in strengthening the security grid across the Rajouri-Poonch belt.
He said that a proactive approach, strong intelligence network, and operational agility remain essential to neutralising threats effectively.
Stressing that the safety of local residents is the top priority, he urged troops to continue engaging with the community to build trust and cooperation.
Reaffirming the Army’s commitment, the Corps Commander said the White Knight Corps will continue to adapt and enhance its capabilities to stay ahead of adversaries.
He added that every soldier must remain alert, mission-focused, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of duty and discipline while ensuring peace and stability in the region.
