Mollywood superstar Mohanlal extended warm birthday wishes to veteran actor Rajinikanth on his 75th birthday, expressing profound gratitude for the icon's enduring inspiration. Mohanlal took to X (formerly Twitter) to wish Thalaiva peace, good health, and boundless joy, specifically thanking him for inspiring generations with his values, strength, and extraordinary spirit.  The Malayalam actor's tribute also highlighted Rajinikanth's remarkable milestone of completing 50 years in cinema this year. The two acting legends recently shared screen space when Mohanlal made a special cameo appearance as the gangster Mathew in Rajinikanth's blockbuster film, Jailer.  In addition to Mohanlal, several other prominent national figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and fellow cinema legend Kamal Haasan, used social media to celebrate Rajinikanth's birthday and his significant contribution to the film industry. The wishes reaffirmed Rajinikanth's status as a generational inspiration across India.


Chennai, 13 December (H.S.): Superstar Rajinikanth extended his heartfelt gratitude to all who greeted him on his 75th birthday, which was celebrated on Friday. The actor offered thanks to political leaders, dignitaries, friends from the film industry, media personnel, and, above all, his fans.

Taking to his social media platform X, the actor specifically referred to his fans as the divine force that sustained him. In his comprehensive message, he thanked prominent figures including the Governor of Tamil Nadu, Thiru R. N. Ravi, his friend and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, and the Leader of the Opposition, Thiru Edappadi K. Palaniswami.

Rajinikanth also sent individual thank you posts to several other noted personalities, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, his long-time friend and fellow actor Kamal Haasan, and former Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu.

The veteran star celebrated his 75th birthday on the sets of his eagerly anticipated action thriller, Jailer 2, where the production house, Sun Pictures, shared a video clip of the cake cutting celebrations with the core unit members.

Earlier in the day, Rajinikanth also offered prayers at the famous Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh with his entire family.
