Guwahati, 13 December (HS): Assam Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah on Saturday launched a sharp political attack, claiming that Akhil Gogoi, Lurinjyoti Gogoi, Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi and AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal are effectively part of the same political camp.

Speaking to the media, Baruah alleged that although these leaders appear to be in different parties, they remain united behind the scenes. “They all stay together and only occasionally put up a political drama in public,” he remarked.

The minister further stated that these leaders associate with sections whose votes his party does not seek. “We do not want the votes of certain people, and these leaders continue to align themselves with them,” Baruah added, reiterating his criticism of the opposition’s political approach.----------
