Guwahati, 12 December (HS): A CGPD team of Noonmati Police Station arrested a veteran burglar identified as Ricky Singh of Narengi Anukul Basti in connection with a theft case, officials said on Friday.

According to the police, the team also recovered a stolen Samsung tablet earlier reported missing from No. 1 Mathghoria LP School. The device was traced during follow-up investigation.

Legal proceedings against the accused have been initiated, the police added.----------
