09 August (H.S.): Echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's motto of Nation
First, a grand Tiranga Yatra was organized in Prayagraj's South Assembly
constituency under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development
Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party's
Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. A large number of youth, women, and BJP
officials and workers participated, further strengthening their resolve for
patriotism. A large number of school children, youth, and the elderly
participated in the procession. Children also performed dances to patriotic
songs.
Starting from Minto Park in Kidganj, passing through Ram Janaki Temple and
Punjab National Bank till Kidganj Police Booth Square, unprecedented enthusiasm
and patriotism of the people was seen in this journey.
Walking in step with the tricolor, children and people shouted slogans related
to Bharat Mata ki Jai and patriotism. They also pledged to hoist the tricolor
in every home. The tricolor in waving hands, faces filled with enthusiasm, and
the atmosphere filled with patriotism gave the procession a grand look. People
present on both sides of the road also showed great enthusiasm for the
tricolor. Those participating in the procession gave the message of patriotism
and national unity. The objective of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign is to
spread the feeling of respect and pride towards the national flag of the
country among the people.
Minister Nandi said that the tricolor is not just our national flag, but it is
a symbol of India's unity, self-respect, and national pride. The Tiranga Yatra
symbolizes the dedication to the country within all of us. The Tiranga Yatra
further strengthens the spirit of dedication, service, and nation first within
all of us. Minister Nandi said that the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan is being
celebrated across the country to promote the spirit of patriotism among
citizens, strengthen national unity, and showcase India's cultural heritage.
This campaign marks the fifth year of the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative. It was
launched in 2022 and has since become one of the largest public participation
movements in the country.
He said that this year's campaign holds special significance as it marks the
150th anniversary of India's national song, Vande Mataram. The
campaign brings together the national flag and the national song in a unique
celebration of patriotism.
On this occasion, BJP Metropolitan President Sanjay Gupta, Metropolitan Vice
President Anil Kumar Kesarwani (Jhallar), Kidganj Mandal President Kabir
Jaiswal, Program Coordinator and Mandal General Secretary Sunny Sonkar, former
Mandal President Raghvendra Mishra, Pranvijay Singh, Upendra Singh, Councilor
Anoop Pasi, Rishabh Tandon, Ravindra Jaiswal, Gajendra Pratap Singh, Shalabh
Jaiswal, Devendra Pratap Singh along with respected party officials, dedicated
workers and local citizens were present.
