Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged people to participate enthusiastically in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and reaffirm their collective resolve to contribute to the building of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).

The Prime Minister expressed happiness that this year’s campaign is dedicated to ‘Vande Mataram’, particularly as the nation is commemorating its 150th anniversary.

In a post on X, Prime Minister Modi said, “Our Tricolour is our pride and a constant source of inspiration to always give our best for the nation.”

The Prime Minister also shared an appeal issued by the Ministry of Culture. The ministry called upon people to become part of this year’s historic and first-of-its-kind Tricolour celebration, ‘Suryapath Tiranga’, which seeks to unite Indians across the world through the national flag.

The ministry urged citizens to hoist the Tricolour at their homes and upload their selfies on the official ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ website.

Suryapath Tiranga will mark India’s 80th Independence Day, with more than 50 Indian missions, stretching from Fiji to San Francisco, participating in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme. Photographs of the Tricolour will be digitally transmitted across different time zones from east to west as part of the initiative.
