
Provision of Rs 198.34 lakh made in supplementary budget for
smooth functioning of Training Block of Directorate of Training and Service
Planning
Funds approved for improving outsourcing services and
administrative systems
Lucknow, August 04 (HS): Under the leadership of Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government is continuously working
to connect youth with employment and self-employment opportunities by providing
them with quality vocational training. In this regard, special provisions have
been made in the supplementary budget to further strengthen and strengthen the
state's training system.
Kapil Dev Agarwal, Minister of State (Independent Charge)
for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, stated that
an amount of Rs. 198.34 lakh (Rs. 1.9834 crore) has been approved in the
supplementary budget for the smooth functioning of the Training and Service
Planning Directorate's training division. He added that Rs. 173.34 lakh of the
approved amount has been allocated for payment of outsourcing services, and Rs.
25 lakh for vehicle maintenance and the purchase of petrol. This will further
accelerate the Directorate's administrative and training arrangements.
The Vocational Education Minister said that the Yogi
government is working with the goal of empowering youth with skills and making
them self-reliant. Necessary steps are being taken to strengthen training
institutes, provide quality training, and develop employable skills.
