Guwahati, 04 August (HS): Pragmatic Academy Senior Secondary School marked the concluding day of its week-long School Week celebrations on Tuesday by observing its 23rd Foundation Day and hosting a Freshers' Welcome programme.

The event, held at the Haradatta-Biradatta Auditorium, was presided over by Mohsen Ali, President of the Pragmatic Educational Trust. Former Chairman of the Assam Public Service Commission, Bharat Bhushan Dev Choudhury, attended the function as the chief guest, while researcher and young motivational speaker Pradip Bhagawati addressed the gathering as the distinguished speaker.

During the programme, Managing Director of the Pragmatic Educational Trust, Anil Dutta, announced a contribution of ₹1 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund through the local MLA to support people affected by the recent floods in Upper Assam.

The school also felicitated 55 students who secured distinction in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination last year. In addition, two meritorious students, Janice Jeningam and Harshita Talukdar, were awarded scholarships of ₹5,000 each.

Among those present were Managing Director Anil Dutta, Secretary Dr. Dwipesh Chandra Bhattacharya, Trust official Namita Dutta, Principal Deepjyoti Barua, office-bearers Madan Mohan Kalita, Nabajyoti Kalita, Krishna Kalita, and several other distinguished guests.------------
