Mumbai, 28 July (HS): An earthquake of 3.5 intensity

struck Palghar district’s Dahanu region on Tuesday afternoon. The Seismology

Department recorded the intensity at 3.5 on the Richter scale at 1.09 pm on

Tuesday.

Following the mild earthquake teams of the Disaster

Management and Revenue Department started survey of the affected region. There

were o reports of casualties or damage to the property.

On July 25 Palghar was shaken by an earthquake of

3.1 intensity. With tremors within four days the local administration is on

alert mode.
