MOSCOW, July 27 (HS/RIA Novosti) - Russia will achieve its goals of the special military operation, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Monday.

The participants of the special military operation are heroically fighting for Russia, for their father's house. They are supported by our entire people and society. We will achieve our goals and together we will do everything for victory, for Russia, Putin said at a meeting with lawmakers after the final plenary session of the State Duma of the eighth convocation.

Russia's strategic decisions are based on the genuine interests of its citizens, the president said.

No matter how difficult it is — and, of course, we are going through a difficult period — over the years we have not forgotten to resolve the main issues related to the welfare of our citizens, the leader added.
