Guwahati, 27 July (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday extended greetings to the personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on the occasion of its Raising Day, lauding their dedication to national security and humanitarian service.

In a social media post, the Chief Minister paid tribute to the brave CRPF jawans, stating that they have been serving the nation with courage, compassion and unwavering commitment. He also acknowledged the force's role in assisting people in Assam's flood-affected areas, where CRPF personnel have been standing shoulder-to-shoulder with affected families during relief and rescue operations.

Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Sarma said the nation remains indebted to the selfless service and extraordinary contribution of the CRPF personnel, whose spirit of duty continues to inspire all.----------
