Amravati,

24 July (HS): A large scale irregularities have been detected in the list of

students admitted under RTE (Right To Education). The names of the students

have appeared in more than one lists.

The

detection has confused the students, their parents and school headmasters.

A

representation has been made by headmasters to the School Education Minister to

ensure transparency in the process by removing irregularities.

The

technical glitches may affect many poor students who rely on 25 per cent seats

reserved under RTE. A student Swaraj Supase complained that his name is missing

even after fulfilling all the eligibility criteria.
