Lucknow, 24 July (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister

Keshav Prasad Maurya said that Sonam Wangchuk's decision to end his indefinite

hunger strike following the Prime Minister's decision is a welcome step. It is

a commendable democratic step toward dialogue and a positive solution. He

appealed to all students to repose their trust in the Prime Minister's decision

and end their peaceful protest. They should devote their immense energy to

nation-building, education, and building a bright future for themselves.

Keshav Prasad Maurya wrote in a social media post that the Prime Minister,

recognizing the seriousness of the paper leak, has taken a historic step to

protect the future of millions of youth by enacting strict laws and fast-track

court decisions. We are confident that this decision will yield positive

results in the interests of students. The Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime

Minister Narendra Modi have always stood with the youth of the country. Modi's

government will continue to work with full commitment to protect their dreams.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that the current situation has made it clear

that the politics surrounding student issues by Congress's Rahul Gandhi,

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Samajwadi Party's Akhilesh Yadav, Aam Aadmi Party's

Arvind Kejriwal, and other opposition parties is merely an attempt to gain

power. They have no real concern for the bright future of students. They should

know that India's youth is aware. In the national interest, they stand firmly

with the Bharatiya Janata Party, confident in their bright future and in the

leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This confidence is a strong

foundation for a developed India.
