Lucknow, 23 July (HS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state

president Pankaj Chaudhary said on Thursday that the central government is

ready to discuss every issue in Parliament, but the opposition is shying away

from the democratic process and indulging in street politics. He said that

Parliament is a forum for discussion and resolution. In a democracy, every

problem can only be resolved through dialogue.

During a press conference held at the party's state

headquarters on Thursday, State President Pankaj Chaudhary said that it was

unfortunate that Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi was staging a sit-in

protest instead of engaging in discussions in Parliament. He alleged that Rahul

Gandhi was attempting to mislead the youth. He said that such a protest had

never been held in history in front of the Prime Minister's residence. The

Prime Minister's residence is not just a symbol of an individual, but of the

country's democratic system. Protesting in front of it shows disrespect for

democratic institutions.

He said that the government sent its ministers to negotiate

with the opposition, but despite this, the opposition remained adamant. If the

opposition has any issues, they should raise them in Parliament. The government

is ready to discuss every topic and present its position with facts.

The BJP state president stated that the nation's youth are

India's future. The Bharatiya Janata Party has always been committed to the

interests of youth. He added that the government has taken sensitive steps in

matters related to examinations. Following incidents that affected students'

futures, the interests of millions of students were protected by re-conducting

examinations.

Chaudhary said that under the leadership of Prime Minister

Narendra Modi, systems like fast-track courts have been strengthened to ensure

speedy punishment for criminals. The government is committed to ensuring that

no injustice is meted out to students and youth in the future.

Pankaj Chaudhary appealed to the opposition to cooperate

with Parliament proceedings, saying that if the House is not allowed to

function, how can meaningful discussions on important issues take place. He

said that instead of engaging in street politics, the opposition should come to

Parliament and discuss the matter, so that positive and lasting solutions can

be found in the national interest.
