Lucknow, 23 July (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister

Keshav Prasad Maurya said in the capital Lucknow on Thursday that it is

recognized nationwide and worldwide that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has

always described youth as India's greatest strength. The Prime Minister clearly

believes that India is a nation of youth, that the energy of youth is the

strength of the nation, and that youth are the foundation of a bright future

for the country, the state, and every family. Today, India's youth is full of

confidence and is playing a vital role in building a developed India.

Speaking to reporters, the Deputy Chief Minister said that

after complaints of irregularities in the NEET exam surfaced, the Central

Government took immediate action with utmost seriousness and sensitivity. An

investigation has been ordered, and several accused have been arrested. He

added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a fast-track

court system has been established to ensure strict action against the culprits,

ensuring swift and severe punishment for the perpetrators.

He said the Prime Minister has stated unequivocally that any

tampering with the future of the country's youth will not be tolerated at any

cost. Student power is national power, and the government is fully committed to

protecting their interests.

Keshav Maurya, referring to the Leader of the House in the

Rajya Sabha and Union Minister J.P. Nadda, said that he is one of the senior

ministers of the central government. When the government authorizes a minister

to speak in the House, he or she represents the government's official position.

If an individual or collective decision is required on any issue, it is taken

only after consultation with the Council of Ministers and the concerned

parties.

Akhilesh Yadav himself has been the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, hence he

should know very well that in a democratic system, any decision of the Chief

Minister or the government is taken as per the collective advice of the Council

of Ministers and the constitutional process, and not by any one person.

The Deputy Chief Minister targeted the Congress, Samajwadi

Party, and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), saying that these parties are not in the best

interests of students. Instead of addressing the real problems of students and

youth, the opposition is attempting to exploit them for political gain. Sometimes

farmers are used as a shield, and sometimes youth and students are used to

disrupt the country's environment. This type of politics is neither beneficial

to democracy nor to the future of youth.

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that Parliament

is the highest forum for democratic discourse and discussion on issues of

public interest. If there are disagreements or suggestions on any topic, they

should be raised within Parliament in a constitutional and democratic manner.

The protest outside the Prime Minister's residence cannot be considered in

accordance with democratic norms and parliamentary traditions. By highlighting

this incident, which has previously tarnished the country's image abroad, Rahul

Gandhi is tarnishing the reputation of the country, including its youth.

Keshav Prasad Maurya reiterated that the central and state

governments are working with full commitment to protect the interests of youth,

ensure a transparent examination system, and secure the future of talented

students. He stated that strict action will be taken against those responsible,

and the rights of honest and hardworking students will be protected at every

level.
