New Delhi, 23 July (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday assured the people of the country that no individual involved in compromising the future of students would be spared. He announced that fast-track courts would be established to ensure speedy and strict punishment for those found guilty in paper leak cases.

In a post on X, Prime Minister Modi said that setting up fast-track courts is an important step being taken by the government to safeguard the interests of students. He added that necessary directions have been issued to the concerned departments to ensure prompt action regarding the establishment and functioning of these courts.

The announcement comes amid ongoing protests by students at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar over alleged paper leaks in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) and other competitive examinations.

The protesting students have been demanding, among other measures, the resignation of the Union Education Minister over the issue.
