(HS): A complaint against YouTuber Manish Kashyap from Bihar and three other

social media account holders for spreading misleading and defamatory

information about Union Minister Nitin Gadkari relating to Ethanol.

Pande and Aditya Juma lodged a complaint with the Cyber Police.

According to the

complaint, Mansih Kashyap had powed a video between 11 am and 11.30 am on July

3 about Gadkari. The information was misleading and defaming Gadkari. Besides

Hashyap, social account holders ‘Desi Boys’ Harshit Rathi and Ankalesh Inwati on

Instagram posted objectionable information about Ethanol. Evidence related to

posts on social media was submitted with the complaint.

Cyber Police

have registered a case under Sections 356, 352, 296 of Bharatiya Nyay Samhita

(BNS) 2023 and section 67 of the Information Technology Act 2000.

Police have

initiated investigation.
