Guwahati, 14 July (HS): Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya on Tuesday felicitated six medal-winning para athletes at Lok Bhavan for their outstanding performances in national and international competitions. He praised their determination and resilience, calling them role models who have brought pride to the state.

The honoured athletes included Anishmita Konwar, Ababil Ali, Yesmina Khatun, Surja Saikia, Kutup Ali and Narzima Sulana. The Governor congratulated them on their achievements and expressed hope that their success would inspire more youngsters to take up sports. He also appreciated the efforts of their coaches and support staff.----------
