NEW YORK, June 7 (HS/RIA Novosti) - The US military shot down two Iranian drones that allegedly threatened maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said.

Earlier today, U.S. forces in the Middle East shot down two Iranian one-way attack drones that threatened international maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, the military said in a statement.

The CENTCOM also noted that US forces remained deployed and ready to continue defending against Iranian aggression.
