Guwahati, 07 June (HS): A Special Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) will be conducted on June 28 for candidates aspiring to become teachers in specific language-medium schools across Assam.

The examination will be held for both Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) levels. According to official information, the Special TET will be conducted in four mediums—Bodo, Garo, Manipuri and Marathi.

The test is aimed at recruiting eligible teachers for schools imparting education in these mediums and ensuring the availability of qualified teaching staff in language-specific institutions across the state.---------
