
Gives message of environmental protection, massive tree
plantation takes place
Prayagraj, 07 June (HS): With the aim of increasing public
awareness towards environmental protection and giving the message of creating a
green and clean environment, awareness
rally “Run for Environment” was
organized under the leadership of Senior General Manager (Unit Head) P.K.Singh
at Ghiyanagar Colony of IFFCO Phulpur. The participants in the rally made
people aware of the importance of nature conservation and tree plantation
through attractive posters, banners and motivational slogans related to
environmental protection. On this occasion, a large number of IFFCO officers
and employees, members of Mahila Chetna Club, women and children of Ghiyanagar
participated enthusiastically.
After the rally, Senior General Manager (Unit Head) P.K.
Singh, along with his wife & Mahila Chetna Club President Sarita Singh and
other senior officials, planted a large tree in the IFFCO Colony premises.
During this, saplings of various shady and environmentally beneficial species
including Neem, Peepal, Mango were planted.
Specially, the General Managers and Joint General Managers
present in the program along with their wives gave the message of environmental
protection by planting trees and inspired the family and society to discharge
their responsibilities towards nature. This initiative gave an emotional and
social dimension to the programme.
On this occasion P.K. Singh said that environmental
protection is not just a campaign, but our collective responsibility towards
the coming generations. Tree plantation and environmental awareness are the
cornerstone of a sustainable and healthy future. The program was successfully
coordinated by Senior Manager (EPC) Umesh Kumar.
In the program, GM respectively P.K. Patel, Ratnesh Kumar
and A.K. Gupta, JGMs respectively R.P. Yadav, Sandeep Goel, Shailesh Sherkar,
Sanjay Kumar and Ashish Kumar were present along with their wives. Apart from
this, HOD Human Resources Shambhu Shekhar, IFFCO Officers Association General
Secretary Swayam Prakash, IFFCO Employees Sangh President Pankaj Pandey and General
Secretary Vijay Kumar Yadav and a large number of officers, employees and their
families were present.
