Bijnor/Lucknow, 04 June (HS): Kapil Dev Agarwal, Minister of

State (Independent Charge) for the Department of Vocational Education, Skill

Development and Entrepreneurship and Minister in Charge of Bijnor, said that

the 12 years of the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister

Narendra Modi have been established as a golden chapter of service, good

governance, welfare of the poor and nation building. During these years, the

country has achieved unprecedented achievements in the fields of development,

public welfare, infrastructure, social security and self-reliance. Now, to

spread these achievements to every person, a comprehensive public welfare and

public awareness campaign will be conducted from June 5 to June 21.

Chairing a meeting held at the Mahatma Vidur Auditorium in

the Collectorate on Thursday, the Minister in charge conducted a detailed

review of the campaign's preparations. He instructed officials to ensure each

campaign program is people-centric, effective, and result-oriented, so that the

benefits of government schemes reach the last eligible person in line.

Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal said that under the leadership of

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the central and

state governments have implemented numerous historic schemes for the welfare of

every section of society. Schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Awas

Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Ujjwala Yojana, Swanidhi Yojana,

skill development programs, and women's empowerment have brought positive

change to the lives of millions of people.

He said that during the campaign, which begins on June 5th,

public welfare camps, health fairs, Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Sammelan,

development exhibitions, public dialogue programs, enlightened conferences,

night Chaupals, media dialogues, public grievance redressal camps, agricultural

workshops, and various public awareness programs will be organized. Through

these events, information about the government's achievements and schemes will

be disseminated to the public, and eligible beneficiaries will be linked to the

schemes.

The Minister in charge directed officials to ensure that all

departments work in coordination with each other and ensure maximum public participation

during the campaign. He said that this campaign is not merely a government

program, but a means to realize the resolve of a developed India and a

developed Uttar Pradesh through public participation.

Following the meeting, on the eve of World Environment Day,

the Minister-in-Charge planted a tree as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's

inspiring call for One Tree for Mother (Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam). On

this occasion, he emphasized that environmental protection is not just a

government responsibility, but the moral responsibility of every citizen. Trees

are the foundation of the Earth's life cycle, and widespread tree planting is

essential for a secure future for future generations.

Calling on the people of the state to plant as many trees as

possible and pledge to protect them, he said that the One Tree in the

Name of Mother campaign symbolizes respect for mothers, sensitivity to

nature, and our collective commitment to environmental protection. This

campaign will transform environmental protection into a widespread mass

movement through public participation.
