
Exams for seven subjects conducted at 504 and 471 exam
centres in 36 districts
Over 4.34 lakh candidates appeared for exam in two days
Lucknow, 04 June (HS): The second day of the written
examination for 15 subjects for the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) cadre
conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission under
advertisement number 01/2022 was conducted across the state on Thursday in a
peaceful, transparent, cheating-free, and well-organized environment. During
the examination, all examination centers were continuously monitored from the
AI Integrated Control Command Room established at the Commission's
headquarters.
Dr. Prashant Kumar, Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Education
Service Selection Commission, stated that in the first shift, examinations for
English, Home Science, Biology, and Music were conducted at 504 examination
centers across the state, while in the second shift, examinations for Sanskrit,
Commerce, and Arts were conducted at 471 centers. The examinations were
conducted at designated centers in 36 districts of the state.
In the presence of Commission members, the Secretary, the
Controller of Examinations, and senior officials, the activities of candidates
at all examination centers were continuously monitored through AI-based cameras
and a state-of-the-art surveillance system. During intensive monitoring and
verification, a fake candidate was caught taking the exam in Varanasi district
in place of another candidate. He was immediately handed over to the local
police, and legal action is being taken against him.
A total of 2,21,489 candidates appeared in the examination
held on 03 June 2026, whereas 2,12,975 candidates appeared in the examination
held on 04 June 2026. Thus, a total of 4,34,464 candidates appeared in the
examination on both the days, which is 50.02 percent of the total registered
candidates. In the examination of 03 June, the attendance of female candidates
was 45.41 percent and that of male candidates was 52.42 percent, whereas in the
examination of 04 June, the attendance of female candidates was recorded at
49.16 percent and that of male candidates was 52.17 percent.
Dr. Prashant Kumar stated that the Commission has
effectively implemented a technology-based monitoring system to ensure the
purity and transparency of the examination. AI-based monitoring, biometric
verification, and a multi-layered security system ensured that the examination
process remained completely fair and reliable. He expressed his gratitude to
the district administration, police administration, center administrators, and
Commission officials and employees for their cooperation in successfully
conducting the examination. He also extended his best wishes to all the
candidates participating in the examination, stating that the Commission is
committed to a transparent and quality selection process.
