Guwahati, 28 June (HS): In a major anti-crime operation, Guwahati Police arrested 31 notorious thieves during coordinated raids conducted across different parts of the city.

According to the official information, the police launched the operation at multiple locations in the Guwahati metropolitan area, leading to the arrest of the accused, who were allegedly involved in a series of theft cases.

During the raids, police also recovered a large quantity of stolen property from the possession of the arrested individuals. Further investigation is underway to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases and trace the owners of the recovered items.----------
