
Lucknow, 21 June (HS): The UP CM aggressively promotes Yoga
as a skill in action (Yoga Karmasu Kausalam) by combining daily disciplined
practice with governance. Known for his rigorous exercise regimen, he organizes
large-scale public yoga sessions and uses yoga to improve both societal health
and the state's worldwide wellness reputation. CM follows a rigid daily
regimen, frequently rising up at 3:00 a.m. to do Pranayama and basic Asanas
before delving into administrative and political chores. He often attends
International Day Yoga programs at historic spots across UP. He emphasizes the
notion of utilizing yoga to promote discipline and a healthy lifestyle.
In accordance with the Bhagavad Gita's teaching that Yoga is skill in action,
his administration combines total physical discipline with systematic policy
execution, regarding personal well-being as the foundation of public welfare
and good governance.
In a post on X, he mentioned, “Yoga: Skill in Action' - Yoga
is not only an exercise but also a science that integrates the body, mind, and
soul. Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all yoga practitioners and
the people of the state on 'International Yoga Day.' Due to the efforts of the
Honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodiji, yoga has today become a global
mass movement. Let us all resolve to practice yoga daily for the creation of a
