Guwahati, 21 June (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma paid homage to the founder of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, on his death anniversary on Sunday.

In a message shared through his official social media handle, the Chief Minister offered his respectful tributes to Dr. Hedgewar, describing him as a devoted patriot and a staunch worshipper of Mother India whose vision and dedication laid the foundation for a strong national movement.

Dr. Sarma stated that Dr. Hedgewar devoted his entire life to the ideal of nation-building and upheld the principle of “Nation First.” He said the RSS founder’s life and values continue to inspire generations and will remain a guiding force for the country in the years to come.

The Chief Minister also acknowledged Dr. Hedgewar’s enduring contribution to social and national awakening, noting that his legacy continues to influence efforts aimed at strengthening national unity and public service.----------
