
Prayagraj, 02 June (HS): Minister Nandi described the
environmental clearance for the BIDA Master Plan 2045 as a significant step,
saying that BIDA's development work will now gain further momentum. Upon
receiving environmental clearance from the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and
Climate Change for the Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority (BIDA
Master Plan-2045), Uttar Pradesh Government's Industrial Development Minister
Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi described it as a significant step.
Minister Nandi stated that with the approval of the master
plan, the development of the Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority
region will accelerate further. BIDA will be developed over an area of 253.33
square kilometers, encompassing 33 percent industrial areas, 16.90 percent residential
areas, 24.92 percent green and recreational areas, 11.56 percent transportation
and logistics areas, commercial, mixed and other uses, a green buffer zone, and
rural development. The BIDA region will be developed at a cost of Rs.1,51,571
crore. After the implementation of the BIDA Master Plan-2045, the entire
economic landscape of Bundelkhand will change.
Minister Nandi said that this project will not only boost
industrial development, employment generation and modern infrastructure
development in the region but will also play a vital role in establishing
Bundelkhand on the global manufacturing map while ensuring significant
improvement in the living standards of the local residents.
