CM Revanth Reddy to Inaugurate Telangana Public School at Arutla Today

Hyderabad, June 17 (HS): Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the Telangana Public School (TPS) at Arutla in Ranga Reddy district on Wednesday as part of the state government's initiative to strengthen public education through modern infrastructure and improved learning facilities.

The Chief Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the school at 9.30 am and review various facilities, including digital classrooms, library, science laboratories, dining hall and sports infrastructure. He is also expected to interact with students, teachers and school management committee members during the visit.

The Telangana Public School has been developed under the guidance of the Telangana Education Commission headed by Dr Akunuri Murali. The project aims to provide quality education in government-run institutions with a focus on modern teaching methods, technology-enabled learning and student development.

According to officials, the school offers education from pre-primary to intermediate level and provides facilities such as free transportation, breakfast, lunch and evening snacks for students. English has been adopted as the medium of instruction.

The state government has selected four institutions for the pilot phase of the Telangana Public School initiative. These include schools at Arutla and Manchala in Ranga Reddy district and Vangur and Polkampalli in the erstwhile Mahabubnagar district.

The government plans to expand the concept across Telangana in a phased manner, with a target of establishing 100 such schools in the coming years.

Officials said 1,814 students are currently enrolled at the Arutla campus. The school has witnessed strong demand from parents, prompting authorities to restrict further admissions for the current academic session.
