Jammu, 17 June (H.S.): In a major administrative reshuffle, Jammu and Kashmir Police has ordered the adjustment of 28 newly promoted Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) and the transfer and posting of 32 serving DSPs with immediate effect.

According to an order issued by Police Headquarters, Srinagar, the adjustments have been made following the recent promotion of officers to the rank of DSP.

The newly promoted officers have been posted in various wings, including CID, Crime Branch, Special Investigation Agency (SIA), Armed Police, Security, Railways, Police Training Schools and other units across Jammu and Kashmir.

Simultaneously, 32 DSPs were transferred and assigned new postings in different districts and specialised units, including CID, Traffic, Security, Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF), Special Operations Group (SOG), JKAP battalions and district police establishments.
