Morigaon (Assam), 16 June (HS): A shocking incident of gang rape of a 14-year-old minor has come to light in the Mayong area of Morigaon district.

According to the police on Tuesday, three men named Inamul Hussain, Ali Hussain and Obedulla forcibly took the 14-year-old minor, who was going to a shop, into a vehicle. According to the complaint, the three then sexually assaulted the minor.

As soon as the police got news of the incident, they rescued the minor and admitted her to the hospital for treatment. So far, the police have already arrested Obedulla in connection with the incident.

Meanwhile, the accused Inamul Hussain and Ali Hussain are currently absconding. The police are conducting a widespread search to apprehend them.

In the meantime, a case of gang rape has been registered in connection with this and the police continue to interrogate the arrested accused thoroughly.----------
