Bhubaneswar, 15 June (H.S.): The ongoing Special Intensive Revision-2026 (SIR-2026) campaign in Keonjhar district received a significant boost when Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi personally participated in the voter list revision exercise by filling out the prescribed Enumeration Form.

The Chief Minister completed the form at his residence in his native village, Raikala, demonstrating his active involvement in the process of updating and ensuring the accuracy of the electoral roll. The form was provided to him by the Booth Level Officer (BLO) concerned with the Raikala polling station.

Keonjhar Collector and District Election Officer Vishal Singh was present during the process, which was completed smoothly under his supervision.

The Chief Minister’s participation is being viewed as an important initiative to enhance public awareness about the electoral revision exercise and encourage citizens to keep their voter details accurate and up to date. His involvement is expected to inspire greater public participation in the campaign and strengthen efforts to maintain an error-free electoral roll.

Appealing to all eligible voters to actively take part in the Special Intensive Revision campaign, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of verifying and updating voter information. He stated that a clean, accurate, and transparent electoral roll forms the foundation of a strong democracy.

The district administration has also urged all eligible voters to cooperate with the campaign and extend full support to Booth Level Officers conducting door-to-door verification, ensuring that the electoral roll remains comprehensive, updated, and free from errors.
