
Delhi/Singapore, 15 June (HS): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday met Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and discussed cooperation in technology, infrastructure development, urban planning and investment.
During the meeting, Naidu highlighted opportunities for collaboration in emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing and semiconductor manufacturing.
The Chief Minister also discussed Singapore's potential partnership in the development of Amaravati and other urban centres in Andhra Pradesh, with a focus on urban governance, town planning and modern infrastructure.
The two leaders also exchanged views on agriculture and trade. Naidu briefed Wong on natural farming initiatives being implemented in Andhra Pradesh and discussed prospects for exports of horticulture and aquaculture products.
Discussions also covered cooperation in the development of ports, airports and commercial infrastructure.
According to officials, both sides expressed hope that Andhra Pradesh-Singapore ties would expand further through greater investment, technology collaboration and urban development partnerships.
