Lucknow/Noida/Kanpur, 13 June (HS): Rapid urbanization in

Uttar Pradesh is putting significant pressure on policing to adapt. Expanding

cities, growing populations, and increasing infrastructure demands have made

technology-driven and easily deployable solutions a priority. The 11th

International Police Expo 2026, to be held on June 24-25, 2026 at Bharat

Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, will bring together key players from law

enforcement, internal security, emergency security and urban administration to

discuss the future prospects of modern policing in India.

The expo will showcase various technologies including smart

surveillance systems, command and control platforms, forensic tools, cyber

crime prevention solutions, integrated emergency communication systems,

mobility management technologies and public safety infrastructure design

required for dense urban populations.

It is estimated that over 200 national and international

manufacturers and technology providers will participate and present innovations

related to policing, defense, surveillance, cybersecurity, drones, emergency

response, and critical infrastructure protection. The upcoming India Homeland

Security Expo 2026 and Drone International Expo 2026 will focus on solutions

such as drones and anti-drone systems, border security, unmanned technology,

and advanced surveillance.

Highlighting the importance of modern policing, Sangeeta

Bansal, Director, Nexgen Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd., organiser of the International

Police Expo, said, As cities expand, expectations from policing change at

an equally rapid pace. The International Police Expo 2026 will focus on

adopting innovative technology and enhancing public safety. It provides a

platform to understand these needs and come up with a more coordinated approach

to the issue.

The event will bring together police leaders, state security

officials, urban administrators and those responsible for public safety to

discuss solutions to challenges related to crowd management, crime prevention,

coordination in emergency situations and civil security.

These discussions are particularly relevant for cities like

Lucknow, Noida, and Kanpur. All of these cities reflect different dimensions of

Uttar Pradesh's development, ranging from governance-based administrative

systems to technology-driven expansion and industrial activity, shaping diverse

public safety needs. The upcoming International Police Technology Conference

will further advance discussions on policing modernization, digital

investigation capabilities, urban crowd management, and coordinated response

strategies.

This expo will provide a platform to the responsible people

of Uttar Pradesh to find practical solutions towards creating a safer, more

accountable and future-ready policing system in the rapidly growing cities.
