Prayagraj, 13 June (HS): DavaIndia, one of India's leading
pharmacy chains operating under Zota Healthcare Limited, organized a summit in
Prayagraj today, bringing together small and large pharmaceutical business
owners from across the region. The event served as a platform to discuss the
challenges, opportunities, and availability of generic medicines while
highlighting the growing importance of affordable healthcare solutions.
During the summit, DavaIndia unveiled its ambitious
expansion strategy for Prayagraj and Uttar Pradesh at a special ceremony held
at Millennium Inn, Prayagraj. The initiative aims to strengthen the presence of
generic medicines at the grassroots level and showcase the company's positive
impact on public healthcare.
As part of its mission to make high-quality generic
medicines affordable and accessible to all, DavaIndia plans to significantly
expand its retail network across key district headquarters in Uttar Pradesh by
the end of FY 2025-26. Currently, the company operates more than 1,200 outlets
across India, including over 250 stores in Uttar Pradesh, and continues to
strengthen its efforts to improve public access to affordable medicines.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sujit Paul, Group CEO of Zota
Healthcare Limited, said, Our mission has always been to make healthcare
accessible and affordable for every Indian. This expansion in Prayagraj and
across North India, particularly Uttar Pradesh, reflects our unwavering
commitment to that vision. We believe healthcare is a fundamental right, and
through initiatives such as #Change, #ComeOutAndVote, and #CareForAll, we hope
to inspire meaningful and lasting social impact. We are excited to bring the
same level of dedication and service to the people of North India for which DavaIndia
is known across the country.
The expansion aligns with DavaIndia's broader objective of
strengthening its footprint in North India and ensuring that affordable
healthcare solutions reach a larger population. The initiative will also
include several social impact programs tailored for Uttar Pradesh.
The #Change campaign focuses on promoting menstrual hygiene
and women's health by distributing free sanitary pads to underserved
communities and conducting awareness sessions. The #ComeOutAndVote campaign
encourages civic participation by reminding citizens to exercise their right to
vote. Additionally, DavaIndia's #CareForAll initiative reflects the company's
inclusive approach to social welfare by supporting animal care and promoting
overall community well-being. Through its continued expansion and
community-driven initiatives, DavaIndia remains committed to transforming
healthcare accessibility and creating a healthier, more empowered society.
