Lucknow, 10 June (HS): To mark the completion of 12 years of

the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a

comprehensive public welfare and public awareness campaign is being conducted

across the state from June 5 to 21, 2026. Under the leadership of Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government will make this campaign

a celebration of public participation and work to connect youth, students,

trainees, and entrepreneurs with skills, employment, and self-employment.

State Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational

Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Kapil Dev Agarwal, said that

under the campaign, date-wise programs will be organized in various districts

of the state in collaboration with Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission,

Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), training provider institutions and

district program management units. These programs will mainly include

employment fairs, skill exhibitions, dialogue programs, entrepreneurship

seminars, cleanliness awareness campaigns, speech and debate competitions and

dialogue programs with industries.

On June 6, vocational education and skills training-based

competitions and interactive programs were organized in Basti and Ayodhya. On

June 8, seminars on skills and entrepreneurship were held in various districts,

including Amroha, Gorakhpur, and Hapur. On June 9, skill exhibitions and

interactive programs are being organized in Saharanpur, Gautam Buddha Nagar,

Firozabad, Aligarh, Bareilly, Azamgarh, and Bahraich.

On June 11th, exhibitions and seminars related to skills

training will be held in Bulandshahr and Moradabad, while on June 12th, special

programs under the Skill Development Mission will be conducted in several

districts, including Agra, Etah, Deoria, Siddharthnagar, and Balrampur. A large

divisional employment fair is also planned for the same day at the Devipatan

divisional headquarters.

On June 15th, programs related to apprenticeship training,

skill development, and entrepreneurship will be held in Shamli, Mathura,

Hathras, Bijnor, and Mau. On June 16th, skill exhibitions and public awareness

programs will be organized in Ghaziabad, Pilibhit, and Maharajganj. On June

17th, a large divisional employment fair will be held at the Meerut divisional

headquarters, providing employment opportunities to a large number of youth.

A seminar on cleanliness and public awareness will be held

in Mainpuri on June 18th, skills and entrepreneurship programs will be held in

Muzaffarnagar, Sambhal, Badaun, and Sant Kabir Nagar on June 19th, and special

public awareness programs will be held in various districts, including Kasganj,

Kushinagar, and Shravasti, on June 20th. Through these programs, the

government's public welfare schemes and the pledge for a self-reliant India

will be disseminated to the public.

Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal said that the Yogi government has

made skill development the most powerful means of employment and self-reliance.

Continuous efforts are being made to connect millions of youth in the state

with training, apprenticeships, employment, and self-employment. Through the

Jan Kalyan Parv, youth will be connected to new opportunities, along with the

government's achievements. All district coordinators, training institutes and

departmental officers were directed to ensure successful organization of the

scheduled programmes and get maximum public participation, so that the benefits

of the schemes of the Central and State Government can reach the last person.
