07 May (HS): Speaking to reporters in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday during

a private event, BJP MP and actor Ravi Kishan launched a scathing attack on the

Trinamool Congress over the election atmosphere and violence in West Bengal.

The MP said the country's people have placed their trust in Prime Minister

Narendra Modi and rejected Mamata Banerjee. He alleged that for the past 15

years, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had been under the illusion

that no one could defeat her, but the people decided to bring about change

through democratic means. Ravi Kishan said that the Trinamool Congress is

unable to accept its defeat and that is why incidents of violence and murders

are increasing in West Bengal.

The

MP alleged that the Trinamool Congress has practiced politics based on

loot, mafia, and goons, and that it’s true face is now being

exposed to the public. He claimed that BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari was attacked

and incidents of violence are continuing in the state. Ravi Kishan, through the

media, criticized the Trinamool Congress.Warning the workers that times have changed and the public has accepted

Narendra Modi's leadership, he said that hooliganism and bullying

must stop, as the law will take its course.

The

BJP MP said that after forming the government, the police will hunt down those

who incite violence and bring them to justice, and the culprits will be

punished severely. He also said that the criminals will now have no escape

routes. Finally, Ravi Kishan criticized the Trinamool Congress. Appealing to

stop the cycle of violence and killings in West Bengal, he said that in a

democracy the decision of the people is supreme and all parties should respect

it.
