25 May (HS): Teachers play a crucial role in any student's success. The
holistic development of children is possible only in sacred educational
institutions like Vidya Bharati. Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Minister
Gulab Devi said this while addressing the ceremony. Under the auspices of the
Indian Education Committee, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Kashi Province, the
Provincial Merit Award Ceremony was organized at Jwala Devi
Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College on Monday. Chief guest Gulab Devi, Uttar
Pradesh Government's Secondary Education Minister, congratulated the
meritorious students and teachers. She said that in today's modern era, only
Vidya Bharati schools have taken up the task of reviving the human and moral
values that are disappearing from society. Students should move forward,
accepting every challenge of life with joy.
Presiding
over the program, Dr. Saurabh Malviya, Regional Minister of Vidya Bharati
Eastern UP, highlighted the global and national contributions of Vidya Bharati.
He said that today Vidya Bharati is the only organization in the country that
is doing the important work of providing value-based and cultured education to
children. Currently, Vidya Bharati schools are operating in 684 districts of
the country, in which approximately 43 lakh students are studying. Our aim is
not only to impart bookish knowledge, but also to awaken the feeling of
patriotism in the students. Today, when there is an atmosphere of war and
unrest in the world, Vidya Bharati is instilling the feeling of love and
harmony in the society and nation through creative programs like Mother's
Conference and Family Enlightenment.
At
the ceremony, meritorious students who secured positions in the state and
district merit lists in the UP Board's high school and intermediate
examinations were honored. Additionally, former brothers and sisters who have
brought glory to the Kashi region by excelling in administrative services,
engineering, medicine, and sports over the past two years were also honored
with mementos and awards.
Present
on this occasion were Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, Vidya Bharati Eastern Uttar
Pradesh Regional Co-Organization Minister Dr. Ram Manohar, and State Inspector
of Kashi Province Sheshdhar Dwivedi. State Inspector Sheshdhar Dwivedi
introduced the new guests and honored them with mementos and angavastram.
