Lucknow,
25 May (HS): With summer holidays commencing in schools throughout the state,
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued a letter to youngsters on
Monday, encouraging them to use the time off to acquire new skills, comprehend
family values, and embrace environmentally sensitive practices. Sharing a
message on X, the chief minister urged both children and parents to make the
holidays memorable and enriching.
Addressing
children, Adityanath stated that summer holidays provide possibilities for fun,
excitement, and new discoveries. He urged teens and young people to make the
most of their time by learning a new language or talent. The chief minister
also encouraged parents to take their children to see their maternal and
paternal grandparents over the holidays so that they may spend time with family
members and learn about customs and values firsthand.
He
also recommended parents to help their children connect with nature throughout
the summer holiday. Adityanath emphasized environmental protection and urged
people to make their holidays plastic-free. My request to all of
you is to make a promise to make these holidays plastic-free. In the letter, he
stated that little actions lay the groundwork for large-scale future reforms.
