New Delhi, 23 May (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent warm birthday greetings to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin, describing him as a “youthful and dynamic leader” who has devoted himself to strengthening the organisation and empowering party workers.
In a message that underscored the close alignment between the Prime Minister’s agenda and the BJP’s revived organisational leadership,PM Modi praised Nabin’s energetic management style, administrative acumen, and deep commitment to nation‑building.
In his birthday message, Prime Minister Modi said Nitin Nabin has worked “wholeheartedly” to reinforce the BJP’s structure at both the grassroots and national levels, ensuring that Karyakartas receive stronger support, visibility, and responsibility. Calling his leadership style “innovative and energetic,” the Prime Minister highlighted Nabin’s understanding of organisational dynamics as well as formal governance, noting that this dual expertise has earned him wide‑ranging respect within the party and the political class.
PM Modi emphasised that Nabin’s public work embodies an “unwavering commitment” to the ideals of selfless service and nation‑building, framing his tenure as BJP president as part of a broader generational push anchored around young‑yet‑experienced leaders.
The Prime Minister concluded his message with a prayer for Nabin’s “long and healthy life in continued service of the nation,” a phrasing often used by Modi when addressing key allies whose roles intersect closely with his own political‑institutional project.
Nitin Nabin: BJP’s youngest national president
Nitin Nabin, 45, is the youngest person to hold the position of BJP National President in the party’s history, taking over from Jagat Prakash Nadda in January 2026 after a process that saw him receive endorsement from Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and other senior leaders.
A five‑time MLA from Bankipur in Patna, Bihar, Nabin also serves as the state’s Public Works Department (PWD) minister, combining frontline electoral success with hands‑on executive experience.
Born on May 23, 1980, Nabin comes from a strong BJP family lineage—his father, Nabin Kishore Prasad Sinha, was a four‑time MLA—and he began his political journey through the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and later the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), where he held key national and state‑level posts.
