Lucknow,

21 May (HS): Gopal Rai, National President of the Vishva Hindu Raksha Parishad,

told reporters at a press conference in the capital's office on Thursday that

behind the increasing cases of kidnapping of Hindu girls, love jihad, buying

and selling and conversion, there is an organized network operating in the

entire country including Uttar Pradesh. The administration is proving to be

ineffective in taking effective action against such organized network. This

allegation was made by Gopal Rai, National President of the Vishva Hindu Raksha

Parishad, to reporters at his office in the capital.

He

raised the issue of the disappearance of a girl from a Tyagi family in

Ghaziabad, along with six other young women, and said that dozens of Hindu

girls, including Asha Negi and Priya Tyagi, were abducted by Meerut resident

Badar Akhtar Siddiqui after luring them into love jihad. He said that Priya

Tyagi's family had even announced a reward of two lakh rupees, but the girls

have not been recovered to date. It is said that Badar Akhtar Siddiqui is

operating his gang from Saudi Arabia.

He

said that reports are continuously coming in from across the country that Hindu

girls are being made victims of love jihad and forced to convert. In this

context, a case of kidnapping of an 18-year-old girl has also come to light in

the Dubagga police station area, who is still missing. He alleged that a week

ago, the police at Chinhat police station were not registering an FIR,

following which the case was registered on the strict instructions of DCP East.

Gopal

Rai stated that even after the cases were filed, police action was extremely

slow and disappointing. He added that while the Bharatiya Janata Party is in

power at the center and in many states, and the administration has been given

clear instructions to take strict action in such cases, the lack of strict

action against the culprits raises serious questions.

He

warned that if the administration did not take swift and effective action, VHP

activists would take to the streets and launch a massive public movement, for

which the administration would be fully responsible. He demanded that all

missing Hindu girls be immediately recovered and that a high-level

investigation into love jihad and conversion networks be conducted, and strict

legal action be taken against the culprits.

During

this time, the Vishva Hindu Raksha Parishad announced the appointment of

Priyanka Thakur as the National President of the Women's Empowerment Cell.

Following her appointment, Priyanka Thakur stated that she would fulfill the

responsibility entrusted to her by the organization with complete loyalty and

dedication, and that a nationwide campaign would be launched to protect Hindu

daughters, raise awareness, and empower women.
