(H.S.): On the occasion of May 1, 2026 (International Labour Day), Uttar
Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered many large gifts for the state's
workers at the 'Shramveer Gaurav Samaroh 2026' held in Lucknow. The goal of
this initiative is to honor workers (Shramveers) who have contributed to the
state's construction and growth while also improving their lives.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate and
lay the foundation stone for several schemes for workers at the Shramveer
Gaurav Samaroh 2026 on Friday. From digital facilities to housing,
health, and skill development, workers will receive several important benefits
simultaneously. New labor centers will be established in Balrampur, Jhansi, and
Gonda. The Digital Labor Chowk app will also be launched and the
new website of the BOCW Board will be inaugurated. Following the workers'
agitation in Noida, their wages were increased. Now, the government is going to
implement several new schemes for the welfare of workers.

Pratishthan, many important schemes related to workers will be implemented.
Meritorious students will also be honored under Atal Housing Scheme. ESIC
dispensaries and hostels will be built for workers in Noida and Greater Noida.
Under industrial development schemes, 2000 residential plots of 40 square
meters will be given. Apart from this, workers' hostels will be built on five
acres of land in industrial areas. With the CSR support of Tata Group, skill
development cell, workers' facility center and residential facilities will be
expanded.
A 300-bed ESIC hospital and a 500-bed working women's
hostel are also proposed on 7.2 acres of land in Greater Noida. Public
libraries will be established and health services will be strengthened at a
cost of approximately Rs. 2
crore from CSR funds. In the field of education, tablets will be
distributed to meritorious students from working class families to connect them
with digital education. Certificates and toolkits will also be given to workers
at the ceremony to help them become self-reliant.
Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and
Brijesh Pathak, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi',
Labour and Employment Minister Anil Rajbhar, MSME Minister Rakesh Sachan and
Minister of State Jaswant Singh Saini will attend the programme.
UP CM remarked in a post on X, “On the occasion of
'May Day' today, the spirit of 'Labour is Supreme' will be brought to life with
the inauguration of 'Shramveer Gaurav Samaroh 2026' along with the launch and
foundation stone laying of various schemes for workers' welfare. Our worker
brothers and sisters are that silent force, through whose labour dreams take
shape and the journey of 'Developed Uttar Pradesh-Self-reliant Uttar Pradesh'
gains new momentum. Salutations to the hard work and valour of the Shramveers!”
In another post on X, he stated, “Heartfelt
greetings and best wishes to all worker brothers and sisters engaged in
nation-building on May Day. With the motto 'When the worker is prosperous, the
