(HS): Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University (DDUGU) is commemorating its

Foundation Day (Diamond Jubilee) after 75 years of academic success. Uttar

Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stressed the university's history of

higher education and its significance as a significant hub for talent

development and research in Uttar Pradesh. Yogi Adityanath highlighted the

university's path to greatness and its role in raising higher education

standards. DDUGU, one of the main state universities (formed 1956, formally

1957), has served as a higher education hub in eastern Uttar Pradesh.

UP CM stated in a post on X, “Heartfelt

congratulations and best wishes to all the teachers, students, and dedicated

staff on the Foundation Day of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University. This

university, as a result of the noble efforts of the epoch-making departed saint

Mahant Digvijaynath Ji Maharaj, is today illuminating society with the light of

modern and quality education, along with knowledge, values, and intellectual

development. Salutations to all the luminaries and students who are

participants and collaborators in the glorious journey of the university.”
