Sambhajinagar, 08 Apr (HS): The Medical Superintendent of Bidkin Government
Hospital and a sanitary worker on contract, were arrested by the
Anti-Corruption Bureau team for accepting Rs 1.200 for family planning
operation, which is conducted free of charge.
The complainant had
approached the Medical Superintendent for carrying out family planning
operation of her sister, when he demanded a bribe of Rs 6,000.
As the operation is
carried out free of charge, a complaint against the MS was lodged with the
Anti-Corruption Bureau. PI Yogendra Shinde led the team to arrest the Medical
Superintendent and Sanitary worker while accepting Rs 1,200 from the
complainant.
