New Delhi, 07 April (H.S.):

Campbell Wilson, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD) of Tata Group-led Air India, has resigned from his position.

The airline has constituted a committee to identify his successor. Wilson will continue in his role until the new appointee is announced, as per the airline's statement.

Air India revealed that Wilson informed Chairman N.

Chandrasekaran of his intent to step down in 2026 back in 2024, and has since focused on stabilising the organisation and leadership team for a seamless transition.

The company's board has formed a committee to spearhead the search for a new leader in the coming months. A New Zealand native, Wilson has served as CEO and MD of the Tata-owned carrier for the past four years.
