Goalpara (Assam), 03 April (HS): Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a massive election rally in Dudhnai on Friday, campaigning in support of BJP candidate Tinkeshwar Rabha for the Dudhnai assembly constituency.

In his address, Shah asserted that the BJP government is committed to expelling illegal infiltrators from the country, emphasizing that national security remains a top priority. He appealed to voters in all four constituencies of Goalpara district to cast their votes in favour of BJP candidates.

Targeting the Congress, Shah alleged that the party had kept Assam in a state of unrest during its tenure and failed to safeguard the state’s cultural identity. In contrast, he said, the BJP has worked to promote Assam’s rich culture on the global stage.

Highlighting the government’s achievements, Shah stated that around 10,000 individuals had been brought back into the mainstream by surrendering arms under BJP rule. He further claimed that over 1.5 lakh acres of land had been freed from encroachment.

The Union Minister assured that if the BJP returns to power for the next five years, the state would remain free from violent incidents. He also promised that women would receive financial assistance of ₹3,000 per month and that new industries would be established to generate employment opportunities for the youth.

Concluding his speech, Shah urged voters not to cast even a single vote in favour of the Congress, reiterating BJP’s commitment to development and stability in Assam.-------------
