Public
outrage women's conference organized
Prayagraj, April 27 (HS): A public outrage women's conference was
held on Monday at the Vatsalya auditorium in Civil Lines to protest the
opposition's obstruction of the Women's Reservation Bill. Speakers criticized
the opposition, calling it an insult to women and saying, The opposition
has once again insulted the self-respect of women. Addressing the
conference, the chief guest, Dr. Kritika Agarwal, State Minister of the BJP
Mahila Morcha, said that women have a long history of struggle. Prime Minister
Narendra Modi envisioned women's empowerment. He launched numerous schemes for
women, such as the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (Save the Girl Child), the Ujjwala
Yojana (Ujjwala Scheme), and the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. This did not sit
well with the Samajwadi Party, Congress, and other opposition parties. While
the opposition views women as merely a means for votes, women want
participation in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. If anyone is working to
advance the women's power, it is PM Modi. This is the country of Rani Lakshmi
Bai and Devi Ahilya Bai. PM Modi fought for the respect of women's rights.
Opposition parties do not want any women other than their own families to
progress. This insult by the opposition must be avenged through votes.
BJP Metropolitan President
Sanjay Gupta said that the opposition could not tolerate women's progress. They
celebrated the bill's failure. They have insulted women. The anti-women
statements of senior Congress and Samajwadi Party leaders are well known. But
with Modi, it's possible. The Women's Reservation Bill will be implemented.
City North MLA Harsh Vardhan
Bajpai said that women have always sacrificed for the country and society. If
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken such a big step, he will fulfill that
pledge. Women will have to walk hand in hand with PM Modi. Congress never
thought about this. The program began with the lighting of lamps and the
singing of Vande Mataram in front of the portraits of Dr. Shyama Prasad
Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.
Giving
the above information, BJP spokesperson Pawan Srivastava said that after the
conference, a public outrage foot march was also taken out in which women
expressed their anger towards the opposition by raising slogans like Rahul
Gandhi come to your senses, India will not tolerate the insult of women. The
conference was conducted by regional minister Mahila Morcha Kashi region
Vandana Singh. The vote of thanks was given by Mahila Morcha district general
secretary Rita Singh. Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, Shashi Varshney, Jyoti Maitreya,
