Prayagraj, April 22 (HS): In the

Hanuman Katha organized by Dr. Uday Pratap Singh, President of Prayag Utthan

Samiti, in the Arail area of Prayagraj under the Rashtra Hanuman Katha of

Shri Bageshwar Dham Sarkar's, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri Ji Maharaj, while

addressing the devotees after worshipping the platform, stressed on the

importance of eternal unity and the name of Ram. A large number of devotees

gathered at the Katha site and were seen dancing to devotional songs.

In his address, Katha Vyas Pt. Dhirendra Shastri Ji Maharaj stated that this

is a grand gathering of Hindus. He emphasized that Hindu society

should rise above caste and creed and unite. He stated clearly that those who

are troubled by sandalwood worship and Hindu faith should change their ways,

otherwise Indian law will reform them. Citing the example of the police system

in Uttar Pradesh, he said that no one can escape law and order here.

Describing Prayagraj as the greatest center of faith, he said that the

largest Kumbh of faith is held at Sangam, where the power of Sanatan Dharma is

visible. He said, “We are Hindus, Sanatanis, and we must unite with this

identity.” Referring to the story's title as Sunderkand, he said it

is a story that reminds even living humans of God. He added that a person who

lives by dedicating everything to God lacks nothing. He conveyed his message to

the devotees, Be worldly on the outside but cultured on the inside;

belong to God.

Pandit Shastri, describing the company of saints as the direction of life, said

that one should sit with saints and chant the name of Hari. He said that many

saints can be seen in Prayagraj, but it is essential to maintain love and

reverence for them. Emphasizing humility, he said that to become great, one

must bow down, and that respecting those who are older is the essence of

greatness. He added that if one wants true peace in life, one must chant the

name of God. Explaining the importance of the rosary containing the name of

Ram, he said that a rosary without Ram is useless.

During the story, devotees clapped to hymns like Sita Ram Sita Ram

Kahiye and Jaahi Vidhi Rakhe Ram, filling the atmosphere with

devotion. The storyteller said that human life is very rare; if there is no Ram

in life, then this life is of no use. The crowd of devotees remained in the

Katha program and the entire area kept echoing with the chants of Jai Shri Ram.

On the first day of the Katha, Mahabharata actor Arjun Trilochan Maharaj, Pagal

Baba Maharaj, Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani performed Aarti and expressed gratitude to

Prayag Utthan Samiti for organizing this grand event.
