Beed, 22 Apr (HS): Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested a

woman Assistant Engineer of MSEDCL in Ashiti in Beed District, for demanding

and accepting a bribe of Rs 18,000.

The Assistant Engineer had demanded the bribe for

technical inspection of solar panel. A complaint was filed with the ACB, which

laid the trap and arrested the Assistant Engineer.

In another incident a Gram Sevak was arrested in

Gevrai Tehsil for demanding and acceptin bribe.

Offence against them was registered and further

investigation initiated.
