2 April (HS): The corpse of a 17-year-old teen who went missing a few days ago
was discovered in a well in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr on Thursday,
authorities said. Anmol, a
resident of Chhotabans village in the Ahmedgarh police station area, left his
home on the night of March 29 and 30 after getting a phone call and did not
return, according to authorities. Based on intelligence, authorities discovered
the corpse from a well in the village and transported it for post-mortem
examination. The body was deteriorated, they added. A case has been opened
following a complaint from the victim's relatives.
Senior
Superintendent of Police Dinesh Kumar Singh stated that five teams, including
SWAT, surveillance, and field units, have been dispatched under the direction
of the rural SP to investigate the situation. Police are investigating
suspects, but no past animosity has been discovered, according to the officer,
who assures those found to be involved of stern punishment.
