Guwahati, 02 April (HS): Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) on Thursday released its election manifesto ahead of the Assam assembly elections, outlining 18 key resolutions focused on a secure and prosperous state.

The manifesto, unveiled by leaders including Jaynath Sarma and Kamala Kalita, emphasizes implementation of the Assam Accord, protection of indigenous rights, employment generation and agricultural development.

It also highlights improvements in education, healthcare, flood management, cultural preservation and welfare measures, along with commitments to a corruption-free administration and a drug-free Assam.----------
